Corrections
We will get things wrong. What matters is what happens next.
Our policy
When we publish an error of fact, we correct it visibly. The correction appears at the top of the article, dated, stating what was wrong and what is now right. The original error stays legible. We do not quietly edit and we do not delete.
Typos and broken links get fixed without a note. Anything touching a fact, a number, a name, or a quote gets a note.
If a story changes substantially after publication, we relabel it as updated and say what changed.
Requesting a correction
Email shervinshahriary203@gmail.com with the article link, the specific passage, and what you believe is accurate. Documentation helps and is not required to get a response.
We respond within three business days. If you are right, we correct it and thank you by name unless you ask us not to.
If we decline, we tell you why in writing.
Right of reply
If we reported on you and you believe the piece was unfair rather than inaccurate, say so. We publish responses from people we cover when the response is substantive.
